Ian Walker

President and Co-founder

Ian co-founded the company almost 20 years ago with the idea that businesses can help create a better world. Ian’s desire to protect the environment and ensure there’s healthy, clean food for future generations fuel his efforts to improve the food industry. He’s been involved with the Organic Trade Association and Canadian Organic Trade Association for the past 10 years.

When he’s not taking part in a sustainability roundtable, you can find him in his natural habitat hiking, paddle boarding, canoeing or you know – drag racing chicken buses in Guatemala.

Johanna Israel-Duprey

Director of Marketing

Not to be a cliché but Johanna is our Prius driving, Decemberists listening, cloth bag-toting, non-GMO seed planting, kombucha making Director of Marketing. She’s classically trained in the culinary arts, a native New Yorker and survivor of the first dot-com bubble and passionate about starting conversations around sustainable food issues.

If you visit our office don’t let those tattoos and biceps fool you. That’s her in the corner losing it over penguin videos.

Trish Kelly

Brand Manager

Trish is our resident food policy nerd. She’s been involved in the local food scene for 21 years and was a member of the Vancouver Food Policy Council for almost a decade. As a vocal food systems and social advocate she writes for Metro News, the Vancouver Courier and is a panelist on Global BC 1.

Who says once Turkey Hotline operators can’t go far?

Rachel Tze

Marketing Specialist

Rachel is our online community manager, constantly connecting people with current issues and news in sustainability. With a background in communications she’s passionate about using media effectively and responsibly for social change. What keeps her up at night is the question of how we’re going to feed over 9 billion people by 2050. And giant squids. They’re creepy.
