CHFA West 2016 Recap

In early May we took part in CHFA West – the Canadian Health Food Association’s Western Canada trade show for manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers, distributors and importers of natural and organic products. If you weren’t able to stop by our booth here are the highlights:

We Celebrated Our 20th Anniversary!

To celebrate, our co-founder Ian made a batch of one of the original Skeet & Ike’s nut spread recipes he and Jason made in 1996.

We also had some fun with friends we’ve made over the years as they shared their favourite Left Coast memories in our video booth. Stay tuned for the finished video!


New In our Bulk Section

Made by yours truly, we debuted our new organic Coconut Trail Clusters and Savoury Trail Clusters. They’re a tasty twist on traditional trail mixes. We also introduced Farmer Direct Co-op  sourced foods, which are 100% farmer owned, fair deal and organic.

Exciting New Products

Denman Island Chocolate unveiled their new Coconut Milk Chocolate lineup: Quinoa Chai, Coconut Square and Cherry Cashew.


Lotus Foods brought their new Arare Rice Crackers made with heirloom brown and black rice in Shoyu, Sriracha and Sweet & Savoury Thai flavours.


Fortified Nutrition introduced its two latest products: Harvest Beef Sticks with uncured bacon and apple, and Harvest Pork Sticks with uncured bacon, pineapple and apricot. Harvest Sticks are Grass fed, free range, antibiotic free, hormone free, gluten free, dairy free, soy free and GMO free.
